We had Levi come look at our oven that has been tripping our breaker as soon as we try to preheat it. He initially wanted to blame the type of breaker we were using because it’s an arc fault style. He said appliance companies suggest not using those and to use a regular breaker. Well then we wouldn’t be up to code and if our home started on fire due to the oven, homeowners insurance probably wouldn’t be too thrilled that we didn’t have required breaker installed to meet code.
I let him know how I felt about that suggestion and asked that he actually look at the oven and try to figure out the actual root cause of the issue. Mind you we have had two different electrical companies out to confirm it wasn’t an electrical issue and that things were pointing to the stove itself, hence the reason we called Levi to come out.
In my opinion he didn’t do a whole lot of troubleshooting. He said in his however many years of experience he was almost positive it was the igniter which we questioned because some of the things that were happening made us think otherwise but he’s the professional, right? So regardless, we had him replace it and the breaker still tripped.
He did not charge us for the igniter and that is the only reason I am giving him two stars rather than one. He took the new igniter back out and put our old one back in. He told us it could be a couple of other issues but those get pretty expensive to investigate/fix. He charged us the $90 diagnostic fee and left.
We decided we wanted to do a little more troubleshooting of our own so went to preheat the oven and now the stove won’t even attempt to ignite and it’s no longer tripping the breaker so we can’t recreate the scenario to do more troubleshooting or have someone else take a look.
I noticed on the back of the stove that two wire harnesses hadn’t been connected so I connected them but that didn’t change anything. Seeing those unhooked wires led me to believe that maybe he didn’t put our old igniter back in correctly.
I called him within an hour of leaving our house to ask if he could come back to double check his work. He didn’t answer so I left a voicemail. Waited a couple days with no response so I texted him. Again waited a couple days with no response so I called again and of course he didn’t answer so I left another voicemail.
It has now been a day since my last call and he has still not responded so I am here leaving this review.
I wasn’t asking him to come back and investigate or troubleshoot any further. I just simply wanted him to ensure the igniter was hooked up correctly. Ignoring your customers is not a great way to run a business!

I was in good hands with Seth! He came during the time frame given, sized up the situation quickly and gave me all the information I needed in order to move forward. Outstanding service..  The website is fantastic and so easy to schedule your own appointments.. Levi explained everything well.      He repaired my refrigerator and my dryer.
